Heritage Open Days celebrate England’s fantastic architecture and culture by offering free access to properties that are usually closed to the public or charge for admission, plus providing a wide range of tours, events and activities which bring to life local history and culture. The national event is coordinated by English Heritage while the event in Hull is organised by Hull Civic Society, which has been responsible for the event for over 30 years. 2014 Dates are Thu 11th - Sun 14th September.
LATEST: Dec 2013 - After 5 years of being the main organiser behind Hull's Heritage Open Days, Philip Haskins is standing down from his position. All future enquiries about the event should be directed to Civic Society Chairman, John Netherwood on email@example.com or 1482 653657.
